~*CAROLINA CHICKENSTOCK "SPRING" 2012*~

I plan on bringing some Blue/Black/Splash orpington chicks. Mostly blue and splash.
I may have a pair of BQ(?) white silkies, a PQ partridge pullet, and some others. I haven't decided what to keep yet.
I am looking for BQ or SQ buff silkies.

Here is my updated list of what I have available, may not bring it all unless I have a request for it:

EGGS
Ameraucana/EE
Olive Egger
Bantam Orpingtons - bbs & white
Silkies - mixed colors
Bantam Marans - blue/splash
Serama

BIRDS
White Bantam Orpingtons - young quad
White Bantam Orpingtons - 4 unsexed in brooder
Bantam Gold Comets Flock - 1 cockerel 4 pullets
Serama cockerels - various colors/ages
Gold Cuckoo cockerel - large fowl
Mille Fleur 'project' bantam orpington pair

There may be a few more once I run thru pens again.

Please pm me if you are interested in any of the above.

Are the license just required to sale at chicken stock or is it mandatory any time saling chickens? Do you have to have the license to sale a few chicks and big chickens here and there?

Thanks for the help

You should have a permit anytime you sell anywhere that is not your own property. If you are selling from home, via craigslist, newspaper, fb, I don't think you would need one. If you plan to sell say outside at a poultry show or swap then you would need one.

HenThymes is right. If selling birds at any location, other then your own property, you need a seller's license. Now if you sell a bird(online, phone) and then deliver it, that is considered selling on your property and for that you do not need a license.

They cost $10.00 right? just making sure I sent off for the right license..

NO. This should have been said, but each license is seperate. You need to fill out a seperate application for EACH license you are applying for.

$25 for a hatchery
$10 for a chick dealer
$10 for a hatching egg seller
FREE for a Poultry/Ratite Dealer

In the box at the bottom of the appilcation it does state "A separate application must be filled out for each category." Red tape is a pain.
