CHICK DAYS TRACTOR SUPPLY BEWARE

So I bought what was labeled as Americauna, turned out to be Easter Eggers was fine with that. Went back and bought what was supposed to be sexed pullets and brahmas, i don't think I got a single brahma, I will post picks this weekend but 3 of them are bluish color with no leg feather, the others look like cochins not brahma. This is very disappointing! Does anyone here have any experience with TSC with this issue and is there anything I can get them to do?
With all do respect.. and this is not meant to be offensive in way way or form but,
It is so easy just to ask Google. Everyone has a smart phone in their hands while driving, eating, walking, sitting on the toilet, walking out to the mailbox. BUT WHY does nobody say.. "Hey Google, WHAT DOES A BRAHMA CHICK LOOK LIKE before purchasing them? Bam.. google instantly says here you go... here is your Brahma chick pic.
Instead everybody blames the under trained, understaffed under paid employees at Farm Supply Stores.
My Cat knows more about chicks than most feed store employees. So to cast shame and blame on them, is only a way to vent frustration from direct results of not doing a homework assignment the day before the final exam.

On the positive side of this topic of livestock proprietors, We have several Rural King's stores in our general area. Each and every RK has a jumbo paper poster tacked up showing tons of pictures of various chicken breeds and their offspring next to the adult birds. It is easy to look in the tub at a breed, walk over the the poster and verify that chick bin is labeled correctly. If the chick is not on the poster, hey Google! What does a red sex link chick look like? If the bin is not labeled "Pullet or "Straight run", purchase your livestock somewhere else.
TSC employees are no more trained than the teenager at your local McDonalds slopping a gallon of ketchup on one side of your cheeseburger.
When purchasing any livestock, it is best for the consumer to educate themselves.

Well when you ask google that you get so many different pics of Brahma chicks or whatever kind you are trying to find that you are not sure if it is correct and often confuses the issue even more. As I said in the post not blaming the employees. It is the fault of TSC and the hatcheries for not properly labeling them, in my business if I have something labeled one thing but it turns out to be something different I have to compensate the customer or give the a refund. The fact that you started the post with this is not meant to be offensive in its self means it is going to be.

Why did you order shipped chicks from TSC? If you are shipping chicks, why not go straight from the hatchery? TSC chicks are from hatcheries, and you then have the complicating factor of a middle-man to deal with too.
:oldTSC sells their chicks below their cost. They make their money back by selling you feed, lamp kits, feeders and other accessories. Then you keep coming back buying feed and other higher valued items.
How can they sell all those implements and all that feed if hardly anybody owns chickens? By providing the local community with dirt cheap priced chicks, they are getting a return in their investment. It's called marketing strategy.
Ordering direct from the hatchery costs more than just money as well. I have been at RK/TSC when the shipments come in. There are dead chicks in the shipping boxes. AND they won't sell you them for 24 hours or so to insure the risk of fatality from the stress caused by shipping is over.

for example here is the first page when searching "What do Brahma Chicks Look Like"

I stated that fact because there are sensitive people on here. I placed a disclaimer to avoid hostile responses. Obviously It failed to achieve my objective. I wasn't insulting anyone's intelligence. Nor defending the practices of the local stores. Nor will I engage with a hostile reply to my opinion which has been misconstrued. ;)
I just asked google and received various combinations of that breed.
Make love, not war..

I agree that a certain amount of education is valuable before going in the store. It's hard when the chicks of certain breeds looks very similar but if you're truly interested in getting a certain breeds you should be able to recognize the minimum characteristics (feathered feet, cheek puffs whatever). I once picked up a couple of silkes I spotted in a bin and had the TSC employee try to convince me that the birds I was buying were a production breeds. I mean, come on. Nothing else looks like a silkie chicks.
Mpst peopld wouldn't buy anything anywhere without being at least minimally educated in what they wanted.

The search bar actually reads chicken not chicks so that could be why adult birds are shown.
here you go it must have auto corrected but this still proves the point I was trying to make for someone new to this there are so many different looking chicks when you do a search it is hard to tell. You should be able to trust the hatcheries and the store. I do appreciate all the input. I did do plenty of research but again being new it is still all confusing. I have placed an order with Cackle Hatcheries and I can only hope they are better at knowing and sending the breeds I ordered

Google -"Charts of breeds"
There are too many for me to keep screen shoting.

There are charts of just chicks, just adults and both side by side. Pages upon pages of them. My pix are blurry because I exploded the screen to the max to show them individually. They are much clearer not blown up large as the tablet screen.
