Hi, we had a chick pip and I noticed the egg was laying in yolk. The chick is still alive but should I expect it to die? Is there anything I can do?

There's wood chips in your incubator???No broody, they are in the incubator.
Is it possible it pipped through its own yolk sac? I've never seen it happen but there's a first for everything.I guess theres some blood too.

I agree, pics please. It's kinda hard to picture.Hi, we had a chick pip and I noticed the egg was laying in yolk. The chick is still alive but should I expect it to die? Is there anything I can do?
I cleaned the egg off since it was caked on around where the chick pipped. The pip was facing down as well so I moved it so the chick could have better air flow. We are on day 20 of incubation.Pics? @MGG
