Sorry for your loss. BB has occasionally worn pearl ear rings and they are very appealing to the girls. Fortunately none were able to eat them. Now we are more vigilant in what we wear when around the chicks. Another live and learn lesson.

Oh my! Believe it or not this is actually very common and is why it's recommended that you never wear jewelry around animals especially chickens. Hopefully they pass quickly and safely!

I just went to check on her and bring her outside with the other girls and found her dead. She got her head stuck in her enclosure. I don't even care about my stupid earrings this never would have happened if I had kept her with the othrs. I'm sorry.
