It's the Ig. Inhibitor of gold dilution gene.I am working on the basis that Citrone comes about by way of a dilution gene. Not sure at this stage what that gene actually is but hypothesising it is something like Ig or Di.
I am of the opinion that it is a recessive gene - but it is uncertain at this stage whether you can get partial expression when only one gene is present (like some pattern genes). Earlier chicks from my project exhibited some interesting feather markings which didn't really confirm this for me either way - so I'm waiting on this seasons chicks to develop up to see what eventuatesPictures of my results are in another thread..
