Chickens losing feathers due to a skin disease or just molting?

Hi, I have a brown hybrid who had a small bold patch for a while now, but recently it’s started growing and at first I thought I’d was melting but no one else seem to be doing the same. The skin seems a little sore on one spot but there is no blood or cuts and the she doesn’t seem to flinch if we touch it?
There are no mites and everyone is eating, laying and drinking normally.

No I don’t, just hens.

Check her for lice/mites and observe her and the flock. See if she's picking at herself or if another bird is picking at her.

Will do. I haven’t seen anyone pick at her since she’s 2nd in commmand so maybe she’s picking herself

She’s roughly 9 months old

That is young but molting is still a possibility.

Update: Been watching them today and the dominant hen is picking at the hen in question but only when she dust bathes, and one of the other hens is going at a different hen as well, does anyone know what it means or how to stop it ?
