Chickies, Chickies, Chickies!! Meet the new additions! (Pic heavy!)

I told the chickies they had to wait for their play time, because I'd have to go out to let the big girls out to free-range soon and I didn't want the babies' play time to be interrupted. Moments later, they've knocked the wall down next to where the gate opens on the brooder, and I looked over to see 8 little faces looking longingly out through the bars.

"Play time please?"

These birds have gone insane! First few pictures I got were of a wing or a leg or part of a chick. Flying like little maniacs, they are!

"Play time?"

Rangi immediately flew up to my arm and gave me a derp face.

Trying to take a nice picture of Po when, surprise! Rangi flies in!

OMG. Just got back from hols in the rainy land of Devon, kinda depressed, and these pics instantly cheered me up

Aw, glad the babies could help spread cheer! And Ihi does kinda look like a grey partridge chick! (Although her fat little butt is a lot bigger than the chick in your picture. )
