Chickies, Chickies, Chickies!! Meet the new additions! (Pic heavy!)

Left to right: Huka, Ihi, Hika Ma, Marama, and Roha. These five, after being packaged into a box and toted off, decided to fly out as soon as the box opened. Then, they froze to look around in horror.

Meanwhile, Po, Tiwhiri, and Rangi (yes, Rangi!) were too afraid to hop out of the box after they saw how green it was out there. Way too unnatural!

Po, after I 'encouraged' him out of the box. He's blending in with his surroundings.

...And then those kittens showed up and I had to round up the babies and get them to safety. :/

And while I was uploading those, Rangi took to an old habit (don't mind my hair--it's humid here... ) :

And Roha started to learn from her sister. Love her little derpface! :love

Well, you're doing the right thing by getting your babies to safety, that's for sure. Is there any way an animal control could get the kitties for you? They certainly don't need to be roaming around at their age.

We can't catch half of them, and the two that we've caught have already been named by some of the softies in the house. Not sure what we're going to do with them. I'm with you and my dad, though. They need to go somewhere safe and, more importantly, somewhere AWAY from my chickens.

My dad is a softie. He brings home stray dogs and says he is going to take them to the shelter, then names them, and, a week later, they are official family members. That's why we have eight dogs... Anyhow, good luck catching them.
