I have 2 possible cases.

1st is a chick in the brooder. She is 3 weeks old. Smaller than other chicks her age, but not vastly different. She was tiny from the start. Is acting a tad less rambunctious but not overly lethargic looking.

2nd is in my coop. Went to clean the poop shelf and it was on the roosting board. Pretty sure it’s from one of my 8 week olds just from where it was. But not a clue who. All seem normal and fine.

Started corid this morning just in case.

Thanks!!

I would treat them with corid just in case. Concidiosis works very fast and chickens are very secretive when it comes to illness

That's blood.
Corid today.

How much Corid are you using?
I saw exactly the same thing, red stuff in the shavings. One of my chicks was also quite lethargic. When I checked her bum, I saw blood in the butt fluff, no sign of a pecking injury.

As @Kiki said, Corid, today.
