Cochin Thread!!!

Hey, all- I have a few cochins, but I am having a hard time determining what type they actually are- maybe someone can help here. I have one silver-laced cochin that is short, a total fluff-ball & very poofy (also broody for the past 2 weeks!)
Here's my roo, who my 3 year old daughter named "Snowpants" (looks like he's wearing snowpants when you look at him from behind). I can't figure out if he's a cochin or a brahma. He has a single comb, quite stunning in color with a great demeanor- excellent with the ladies.

Then I have this gal who is completely black with feathered feet, but she's not short & poofy like other cochins, she's tall (unlike a cochin) but not fluffy, firm, strong bodied. Her name is "Blacky" (Imagine- 3 year old names

)

And then there's "Snowy" who is pure white, again, tall & not puffy but has feathered feet. Don't mind "Owl" our Easter Egger in Snowy's pic- she's SO, SO curious & wanted to be in all the pictures (follows me EVERYWHERE & roosts on top of the coop!)!

All of our chickens are 9 months old, if that helps at all. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I also have 6 RIR's that I would like to cross with our Roo (for fun & see how they are as layers), but I don't know what the heck he really is!! Any idea what the coloring would be or how good of layers they may be?

Thanks so much!!

The roo looks like a dark Brahma without the peacomb. The girls look like possible cochin mixes to me. The feather leg is a dominant trait from my novice understanding. I also have some interesting names for our birds as i have a 3 and 6 year old.....lol

The rooster is a Silver Laced Cochin, not a Brahma. As with most Silver Laced, his color is a bit off. The hens look like mixes, they both look to have dark legs and faintly feathered feet. The tail is a huge sign that they are not full blooded, but some sort of mix. And, Cochins arent the only breed with feathered feet/legs.
