I am curious as to how many of you Cochin lovers belong to the Cochin International breed club. Membership is $15 annually. They put out a quarterly newsletter as well as news in each issue of Poultry Press.

Hey all you Cochin people, I need tips for sexing my Cochin chicks. Please and Thank You.

Also, if they have poor feet feathering as chicks, will that most likely carry on into adulthood? And why do my "Black" Cochin chicks have white feathers? Will they fall out and be replaced with black ones in a few months? I acquired more chicks than I will ultimately be able to keep and if there is any obvious signs of poor quality I need to rehome them sooner than later.

Need to go get a picture of the cockerel (he kept flying up out of his coop while I was trying to get pictures!), but here's the pullet, Abigail.
