Cochin Thread!!!

Pretty sure it's not, what I remember is a hen with heavy markings and maybe a little too much white, but excellent chevrons, (I think they're called chevrons) and very good type. I'll look for one of Lynne's postings just to make sure.

I think I know which bird you are thinking of. I think it is "Tango", owned by someone who recently got out of the project too but kept her b/c she couldn't bear to part with her. Does the name Tango sound familiar?

Say, I just sold this little Blue Mottled pullet. Any thoughts on her type?

The name Tango doesn't sound familiar, but the comment "kept her b/c she couldn't bear to part with her" does. I remember thinking it was too bad she wasn't going to be bred anymore. Is Tango the screen name? I went through some of the Mille Fleur thread last night and still couldn't find her. I give up, but this kind of reinforces the point about there not being very many true MF.

Whew!! So glad to have that cleared up, I was beginning to think I was imagining things. All of those hens, Gail's bird, Lynn's birds and yours Stephanie are great additions to this struggling program.
I hope that someone is out there working in that direction.

Here is the same pic, edited. Doesn't it look cool?

And yes, I hope so too. A guy named John Kulpa in Michigan got most of my flock. A nice lady named Kelley Sheiss in IN got Mellie. I hope someone is working with Gail's flock too. :)
