Thank you. It's just surprising that he's so calm and the other cockerel (same age and breed) is so much larger and feisty. Little pumpkin isn't crowing yet but big ol Adam has been crowing for a while.
sometimes they are more of a subordinate role and get along great, other times not, a lot will depend on how many hens you have when they mature, at this age if they are getting along just keep an eye on them it doesn't always mean you have to get rid of one. If they can get along together it's great as you have extra protection for your hens and if something happens to the dominant one the subordinate usually steps up to the plate. My 2 cockerels by 3 months old weren't getting along so one had to be removed
