I have a cockrel that seems to have a weak voice when he crows. It sounds like, when we have a sinus drainage and our voice is scratchy and we are losing it ( I hope that makes sense). One of my cockrels (4) was a late bloomer, so I am unsure if it is that one or if one is getting sick. Any ideas??? I just want to make sure, I love my feather babies ❤️

Occasionally one matures with a weak crow. I saw a roo (mature) once with the highest pitch, weakest crow I've ever heard. He had ZERO carrying power. Produced some beautiful babies. His son now is flock master and has a normal crow.

Yes. Some also are just bad crowers, or take exceptionally long to get good at it

If he's acting healthy otherwise, it's completely normal. When starting to crow cockerels sound TERRIBLE! Enjoy this phase before they become sopra
He is acting healthy. I put a fan in the coop last night because it is really hot and humid here in Alabama. Could I have caused him an issue if it was too much wind on him????
