Hmm, that's a definite maybe. lol

A few of my favorite pieces.

Scenic quartz, it's really difficult to show this in an image but if you look closely its looks like a miniature landscape inside of the clear quartz.

Ametrine spirit quartz, also known as cactus quartz, or fairy quartz. It's made up of amethyst, citrine, and smoky quartz.

Pink halite

Green apophyllite

Septarian druzy egg, no it's not an actual egg, just shaped to look like one but this stone always makes me think of dragons and I think I may sculpt a little baby dragon for this piece one day.

I love all the rocks!
I suck at identifying them, but when they catch my eye I have to pick them up! Since fish keeping is another hobby of mine I put a lot of my rocks in their tanks so I can see hem all the time. I also put them in plant pots for safe keeping. The really big ones I put around my pond, gardens, and patio. I need to go take some pictures when it gets brighter out😁

Here are a few I keep in plant pots. I’m really drawn to round and flat rocks. The one round rock on the bottom right I carved a koi on.

I wish I had a better picture, but here’s one of a rock I carved on. It makes me smile🙂 (bottom left) Id get a better one but my pond is covered with a tarp for the winter.

In this one you can see my large collection of rocks I’ve gathered up😂 The stripped rock between the two swings is special because it was in the woods and I had admired it for a long time. My determined husband used his truck to drag it over to the garden for me❤️ The smaller one behind it I used the lawnmower to drag over😆 I’m determined too😉

Beautiful! My pond is still not much more than a hole with water. Because there aren’t any plants in it, it turns brown, so we have to put pond dye in. Of course that just makes it look strange, but it’s better than the brown! (and somewhere there is a very blue raccoon who had the bright idea of getting into my bottle of dye and spilling it all over himself AND into the creek)

Hopefully my pond will look as nice as yours one day :love

I LOVE your backyard! That must be so peaceful to sit out there and enjoy.

All I've done is dream about my future pond so you're one step closer than I am! lol
Plants and something to aerate the water can help with that too. Some plants are great filters. I've seen some epic systems set up with a little side creek that flows through filtering plants and comes back to the pond...but you know, it's not first hand experience, just dreaming, lol.
