Ok, I'm going to go to the Greeley swap, and I will have about 12 American Fuzzy Lops and somewhere around 15 or so bantam cockerals. Maybe some other stuff. Anybody else planning to be there?

Hi, I'm in the Durango area and just setting up for chickens.

I ordered Ameraucanas, Delawares, and Faverolles after researching breeds. Am interested to know what breeds everyone else is keeping.

Cheers,
Michelle

Hi Michelle, love Durango!! I'm new to this too. Right now I've got 16 assorted Banties that are a little over a week old and 7 3 week old RIR, BR, and Ameracaunas. Then April 4th I'm getting another 13 from Lonecowboy that will be 7 weeks old and they are NHR, BO, Black Austros, Spckld Sussex, EE's, and a Black Cochin. But my daughters want 2 Polish hens and I wanted Faverolles.

I've got Red Stars, Black Stars, EEers, SLW's (don't like the SLW's too much) I'm adding blue orps, Blue Jersery giants, speckled Sussex. Black Austalorps, welsummers, Barred rocks, and BLRW. Did I miss any Cara?

Oh, I've got blue Ameracaunas hatching today and I'm pretty sure I'll have to keep some of those. Oh, and Buff orps.

I think that description fits most of us!

I tried to convince my DH to go to Denver today by way of negotiation (there is a pair of audio speakers he wants to purchase off of Ebay in Denver but it's a PU only)
I told him what a great opportunity! He just laughed at me and I quote him, "Your Insane"

Enough said, Lori
