Colors before moulting

Hi: I have 6 baby ducks. One, pure black, is Swedish; two I was told are Rouen; and then 3 I was told are Pekins. But, I thought Pekins were white? These started out mostly yellow with slight dusky gray backs, now they're grey with a few blotchy black spots. Do they turn white after moulting?
