I understand that. I had looked into it myself after Renee mentioned it the first time. Problem is I procrastinate, and I didn't do anything about it. Well the bills have gotten so high that I decided to take money from what little I had saved to pay for the windows. I wanted to buy a different car cause I don't have one that has a working AC any more. But the windows won out.
If you two are looking at windows, this place is by far the cheapest I have found and have a 0% interest deal. I can't say for sure how great they are yet, cause it will be 6 weeks before I get them installed. But they gave me a very long list of customers I can call for references.
I had planned to try to replace one window a month just buying them off the rack and installing them myself. But I couldn't ever get any help and my old windows are too heavy for me to handle alone. This way it will be done.
I lost my job of 24 years too and it sucks having to adjust to a much lower income. But we can all adjust. After working in a corporate world for years it is wonderful to have time for my birds and my hobbies.
What ticks me off is all the government programs that were supposed to help are being ripped out from underneath us. I don't like discussing politics, but I sure would love to see Obama have to suffer like millions of Americans are now in this economy.
