Coop Cam

What kind of range does one of these cameras have? My pen is about 200' from my house.

What you need to do is take your lap top out to your coop and see if you can get on to your wireless. My cameras are about 25 to 30 yards from my house. The signal is a combination of your wireless rang and the camera.

We have IP foscams on all the coops, and all over the outside of the house. great deals on those and we can watch on our phones or over the web.

I'm currently stream 6 cams[Foscam fi8918w] to my website [my cycling blog]. Here is my code:

My cams are grouped in two rows, with 3 cameras each. For me presentation in tables gives the appearance I want. The key streaming part is this: http://cyclingexperiences.dyndns-blog.com:8084/videostream.cgi?user=blogger&pwd=chickens" width="229" height="172" /. that takes the place of my external IP address. The blog is a WordPress Blog. Link in my sig. Please e-mail me if you have specific questions. I'm happy to respond to general questions here. Happy streaming...

Jim

P.S. I also see the cams on my iPhone, even with audio. I can use motion detection [egg laying/predators/etc.]. I use FOSCAM Surveillance Pro and LiveCams Pro [while we wait for Surveillance Pro audio].
