I saw a story that some lions and tigers in the Bronx zoo have tested positive as well.
Is to meNot that this will do much for most of you normal people...but I recently found and ordered a new GF flour through Sam's Club and have some sandwich bread going in the bread machine.
First time using this blend...and holey smokes did it rise!
Normally GF flours are heavy and struggle to get a decent rise like wheat based flours, but this stuff behaved quite differently. I followed the recipe from the maker/manufacturer of the flour mix but wowsers...I've never seen GF flour puff up so much. Of course it fell too, but not too bad so we'll see what it turns out like.
....I know, exciting, right??
Oh No! I hope this doesn't prompt people to start abandoning their pets ... or worse, start a mass euthanasia of pets both in and out of shelters!
Awwww so adorable!!!!Oh No! I hope this doesn't prompt people to start abandoning their pets ... or worse, start a mass euthanasia of pets both in and out of shelters!
I did my part to help, last weekend. We went to the SPCA to get a foster cat ... and ended up directly adopting two, instead! Apparently other people had similar ideas, because that particular shelter was down to three dogs (one of which had an owner on her way to rescue her runaway) and less than a dozen cats, mostly ferals. We took in two of the ferals - both of which/whom are now eating out of the cat-whisperer's (DS) hands and (begrudgingly) accepting pets from all of us. He even got a brief sputter of a purr from the wilder one!
So, if you can foster, please do it now, before "stupid" catches up with pet owners or legislators who really don't care or understand!

Poe and Kohana, 24 hours after they came home - hissing, growling and spitting like tigers!

Ha around here the shelters are either empty( the ones I have used in the past) or they want to visit your place, one wanted to see a w2 and all want to talk to your vet.Oh No!
