Here they are telling folks that kids under 12 don't need the masks.

Heading to the store in a couple minutes. Yup I have 3 masks ready.

VA says they require anyone 10 and up to wear them. They do state 2 and up should be wearing them though.

Yeah it’s definitely confusing. I just stay home it solves most of the problem

That's my thinking as well!
Of course, I was already a homebody anyway.

I know one thing...if there was a unified plan/idea/something...it would certainly cut a lot of the confusion! And save lives.

Some guy just tried to walk into the gas station without a mask on and the guy at the register said “sir you have to have a face covering to enter the building” and the guy thankfully didn’t do anything but just looked kinda pissy and thought about whether or not to leave or come in anyway then went outside and just left lol

But people figure if they don't know the dead, it's just a government whitewash of other issues.

Sometimes I think I should just post a company photo from a few years ago ... with two faces crossed out. If it wasn't disrespectful to those who died, I'd do it. People iz stupid!

Did y'all see the newspaper the other day? The entire front page covered in names of people who passed from this. No headlines, no photos...just the people, The entire front page.
And it was only 1% of them.

I’m not going to church either but I’m confused on everything.

And THAT is exactly the issue. Since this particular virus is so new to people, not just now but in the whole scheme of human history, NO ONE knows exactly how or when or why or where it spreads ... at least not decisively. Until we know more, information will change and theories will be expounded and proven ... or not ... and the whole mess will keep on evolving. Eventually, hopefully, we'll know what we're dealing with and how to best handle it ... just in time for a new one to pop up.

Think of this as mystery. And by that I mean forensically speaking. Every where you go you enter a building or room thinking of how NOT to disturb the evidence while you are in there.

Ok, I'm feeling really disgusted ATM...I lived on the Eastern side of the US during 9-11. It impacted me a lot. Few years later I moved out west. When talking to the people there many said it was hard to grasp because it happened so far away, and they didn't know anyone that was impacted.
Ok, I get that.

But this thing is world wide. Every state. Every country. Every Nation. Every continent.
How are people not getting this??

And 9/11 was different, too, because there was a visible impact. Everyone with a TV, a radio, a computer, or a mobile device saw it ... over and over and over again. With this mess, there's nothing to see except closed hospital doors and lists of numbers. With all the uncertainty nd all the back-and-forth hoo-hah about whether it's "real" or not, it's small wonder there are so many who question it. Still, the statistics and the horror stories that ARE coming out should be enough to scare people into at least being cautious ...
Then again, I reiterate my previous statement:
People iz stupid!
