Thank you everyone for the fishing ideas. Between the info you guys supplied and browsing online the ideas you supplied, this looks very doable.
IF it would quit raining and the creek would return to normal.

I mentioned this on my state's thread... we are not a flood prone area but about a month ago we got record breaking floods and were stranded in for 4 days because of 12' of water. Thankfully we just got driveway, bridge, and lower property damage because my house and barns are on a hill, but neighbors lost loved ones, barns, and many houses were underwater for a week.
I'm generally a prepared person having been through many natural disasters before, but the flooding straightened my chain a bit and I had already been in the "next flood" planning and prepping stage when this all hit.
We had major flooding here on the Pigg river. Like 40 feet above normal. Entire trees washed away. Luckily we don't build structures near the river except a boat launch , stairs and a small bridge. Two out of three washed away.
What part of VA are you in?

Hey, you guys making masks:

Have any of you adjusted the length of the elastic webbing for the child-sized ones. I'm using the 7 1/2" x 5" measurement from the written guideline. It says 7" of elastic for a 9" x 6" adult mask but I don't see any adjustment for the smaller ones.

Maybe it's not necessary. Maybe the adjustment is in the size of the cotton but I thought I'd check.

What are you doing?
I have not tried mask making yet. I was fixing soffits and planting strawberries.
