There ya go!! You should call her...she's got more!!
That's what I thought I understood about the quarantine with geese, they weren't as susceptible to disease as chickens. So the plan is drake jail for the gander...which is actually a pretty big space...I would say 15'×20'. Also planning on clipping the wings until he feels comfortable in his new home and I can see how flighty he may be.
oh they're not that bad...just when there's anything out of the ordinary! Squirrel in the yard, kids swinging too high, dog is occupied taking a poo...
Jokes aside though, it is mostly just chattering I get out of the pomeranian...so far.
Oh boy my Embden gander is Loud not so much now but during breeding season wowie. Breeding season is from Feb till first part of June. His mate, female isn't too bad but her voice is low pitched. I do believe Sam could break glass.
I'm hoping reeeally hoping this doesn't turn out to be the case with bring in the CP Gander...I'll have to really up my Christmas budget for the neighbors
I am not sure how CP ganders are, but my boy has a very rotten attitude when in breeding season. But from all I've read big difference in Embden than CP. Goose eggs make some really yummy omelets. That would be a nice way to appease the neighbors some goose eggs.
