Cracked duck egg incubated! Help!!!

Ok so candles duck eggs and my stupid self hit the egg against the corner of a sink on accident and cracked it. It's one big cave in and the cracks tracking down the side? Worth saving? I just had a bad egg explode so yes it is very susptible to bacteria so I cleaned the bator and am sticking the egg under a broody till the crack is fixed. Next question is what to fix it with? In heard wax or tape but which is the best?

I think the egg will be fine.
I patched a cracked egg with a bandage, and it hatched.
I would use whatever you have on hand. Wax seals better than tape.
