Right now I am reading post and considering cleaning up my mess.

Speaking of messes...
I made pompom chickens with my 4 & 5 year old nieces last weekend. I wish I'd taken pictures of their results. Cute as can be, but the 4-year old's chicken looked sort of like Dali did it

OK, I know it's a typo but I couldn't resist!

My projects are: a chicken cross stitch kit, crocheting dishrags & potholders, and making weird little dolls out of pipecleaners and string with DD2.

Yes, that's a typo! 2 DD's! One DH is more than enough!

mcg30_40, that is a beautiful cake!

Well, I've got crochet projects aplenty lined up here. I was supposed to be having a hysterectomy on the 8th, but it's on hold until I have some more tests. Anyway, I've started afghans for myself, my husband, and my daughter. I just mailed off 8 little preemie hats for the Knit One, Save One charity. And I've got 3 scarves done for the Special Olympics project also. I'm really wanting this surgery. Hope to do a lot of little projects while I'm recuperating. Nothing strenuous though.

Hope things go well with the surgery and the recoup time should mean lots of hookin!!! Hope so anyway!!

My pottery class starts the 17th so I hope I will be able to make something that wont qualify for the halloween hall of fame and maybe use things from there for Christmas too!!

:)Hello everyone!! I'm new and would like to let everyone know first of all I love all the post of what different ones are making. I got a few things made this last Christmas for my kids. A small blanket, some plastic bag holders, aprons and matching oven mits, and more. I'm planning on a lot more new projects for my kids and grandkids this coming Christmas. Thanks to all the neat ideas on here. Been really busy lately getting orders out to really check everything out until now. Maybe I can sit back and enjoy this site!!
