Carmel Popcorn and a Movie day. Have your daughter pick some of her favorite movies. Failing that make sugar cookies and have them decorate them. Or even a cupcake decoration contest. They have to design a cupcake. Could be fun. Depending on their age. Take lots of pics to share.

I sooo love this thread!!! So many awesome ideas, like a really good resource, glad we didn't lose it in the archives!!

I like the cupcake idea too. You could let them dress up and take pictures, print them out and make a scrapbook page each. Not personally into the scrapbooking but it sure takes up rows and rows at Michaels so it must be hugely popular.

Also the peanut butter birdseed pinecones..back porch stuff there or someplace you can sweep the scattered seed to your chickens anyway!

Maybe do a google search for slumber party ideas..should be lots of hits for that!!

I'm going to make some carrot and apple wreaths for my neighbor's horses.
Unfortunately, I'm having trouble finding the 'spiked' metal wreath frames, but hopefully I will get them in time.
