Crafters- What are you making???

Where are you all finding those great round beads. I must go to joann's and look for those.

No the wires I am talking about are in the jewlery section of walmart. I will try to go and get some to get a pic of them.

I am waiting on someone coming to see my rescue boy (boxer) really nice people sure hope I find him a good home. He would be spoiled in theirs. Pray he gets his new home today as he is getting too comfortable here. Translation I like him a lot and if he stays much longer I won't be able to let him go

Does anyone know where I can get some good "templates" or pictures of stars? I have an art project that we were given in class today, and I need some pics of stars, or some kind of star "form" to use as my idea. I thought you imaginative folks might have some suggestions for me.

Sorry I don't know of anywhere to get a star pattern.

Oh Oh you might want to try an online scrapbooking site they might have what you need.

Sorry I can't be of more help then that. I can't even give ya a site. Could try google and then when you get to the site search for star pattern.

No kidding, holy cow, more ideas!!!! lol!! I did those candy wreaths (see them on your link Okie!!) year before last, maybe even last year, might even be pictures on this thread can't remember but they were a huge hit, my sil and bil's families fought over them becasue I didn't make enough! They were cheap too...I bought those green floral circles from the Dollar Tree, guess they are about 10" diameter and thick and a bag of those chewy christmas peppermints..the ones with the little christmas tree looking shape in the middle, they are really good..hard to not eat them all!! and a roll of the cheap floral wire, cut one inch pieces of that and bent if over one end of the candy and poked them into the wreath until it was full..just hang over a long nail, no need for hanging devices since it is a circle...They had some of those Christmas floral stick things for 50 cents at the dollar tree too so that was the decoration at the top, they were sooooo cute and everyone loved them, gave the neighbor across the street one and the kids couldn't wait till Christmas was over to eat the candy! Probably had 3 bucks in each one and an hours worth of work...this is a good co-worker gift or neighbor or babysitter or dog sitter gift!!

...yep, one more thing to add to the list, lol!!! It's Okie's fault this time as I had forgotten about these until I saw her link!!!!

Zoo, I think the beads I used (I have a huge stash of beads!! but still buy nice ones when I see them in Michaels..thats where the red faceted ones came from) but I think they are 12mm body and then 10mm for the head. Looks like Dreamy's are a bit smaller so it really doesn't matter, just make the legs proportionate to the size, my legs are 2 1/4 inches each, have to measure those becasue one of leg ruins the whole look!! Good luck
