I would definately make it into a play quilt. Then when you have kids......they will love to play with it to.

Good thinking! I'm also thinking about making a pocket on the back of it to hold all the pieces (hopefully there will be slightly less of a chance of pieces getting lost that way).

Those would work, heck even a piece of plastic canvas covered with fabric or something...

I search all over for just the right thing, then look to the left and right, find the cheaper option, and that's what I get. lol
Even the ceramic ones could work. a little paint design.. ta da! Just dont get handles. lol
