I made these pincushion/thread catchers the other night. So easy and fast to make! I am keeping the blue/burgandy one.

It's a little early yet but here at back to basics we will start making goats milk soap, smoking bacon, and hams, then we cut them into 1/4's and gift them away for gifts, along with pressed flowers. If available we'll include some jerky.

I just finished this quilt for my husbands cousin's baby. He is due anytime. I had alot of fun making it and it is very simple to do.

I love it...I would love to have the pattern too if you wouldn't mind.My 12 yr.old DD is looking for little things to make for her aunts and grandma for our family christmas exchange.The whole family has decided to make things for each other.
