Its a rainy day right now... got lots to do today.

Thanks algopurple... and your welcome. I went out today and bought 2 more rolls of each color, I'm sure I'm going to need alot more

I was kind of thinking about putting a stitch of yarn in the corners of some of the square and material then tie it in the back or something... who knows, I'll try to figure out something, lol.

I have GOT to tell yall what just happened. Not going to believe it. This Saturday my DH's cousin came from MO to visit and the first thing they noticed was a plant growing on the side of the road on our property. He was like "Don't yall know what that is?" He thought it looked like a (SP) Marajuinah plant. I looked at it and it did look like the ones I looked at on the net so today I called the cops to come and look at it. It was exactly what I thought it was!!! I had an illegal plant growing on my land for however long it took for it to get a little over 2 feet tall and I never noticed it!! Every time I left my house or came home I drove right past it and never knew!! The deputy that came out here figured it got there from someone throwing out a joint they were smoking and it had a seed in it. I am just glad to have it off my property. I only called them today cuz I was scared and didn't know what to do with it. I guess ya never know.

Algo - That's crazy. I thought that they could prosecute you if its on your land even if you didn't know it was there. That's what I've heard anyway. Glad the cops took care of it for you.

My oldest DD went to the specialist today (they sent us to a Gastroenterologist instead of a ENT like I was told) and he felt her stomach and said that nothing is wrong with her. Tomorrow I'll be back on the phone getting us another opinion set up.
We did go to the zoo today and spent like 5 hours walking around. I'm so tired.
My nephew went back to St. Jude today for a check up and I'm crossing my fingers hoping for good news.

I made 2 more squares for my afghan... thats 8 now...

the goal is 30 for now, see how that works... so I got 22 more to go

Glad the cop was understanding Algo and didn't think you were trying to pull a fast one on him. Of course, if you were growing it, there would probably be more than one plant.

At least the cop didn't act suspicious and have to look around for more. You could have told him you were using it for hemp yarn.

Jen I am like you, didn't think something like that could or would ever happen. I am still shocked.
As fast as you work, 22 squares will be done in no time!

Baustin hey! Sorry I missed your anniversary. Hope it was a good one and WOW to you too on so many years without killing each other!

Risu good idea about the hemp yarn. Never would have thought of that. If any more turn up thats going to be my excuse. All I have to do is show them my huge yarn stash and they will understand lol.

Tnlorprazer I thought that too so when I called to report it I blocked my # till I told them what I was calling about and the lady said they just send someone out in a case like mine and no matter if it is the illegal stuff or not they don't point fingers but just take it since I reported it and they didn't find it on their own like I was trying to hide it or something like that. Technically it was just growing on the side of the road only about 5 feet from the road but I own the corner lot so I guess it could still be said to be on my property. Just glad it is gone and I don't have to worry about it anymore.
Hope your next doctor visit is alot more helpful for your DD.

I have pictures!! The final count from my first hatch was 29 out of 41 eggs and 28 still living.

Later that same day I went out in my garden to pick my peas and this is what I got instead lol. A half busshel of chickies! They got moved out to the big hen house where I have a bigger cage with lots more room for them.
