105+... I may start to stop complaining about our temps, probably not - it's the humidity I can't handle!!! Dry heat, bring it on and KEEP the humidity! Hahaha!

Ninny, that is adorable! Looks like a lacey shell stitch of some kind. Hard to tell from the pic but beautiful from what I can see!

It is really pretty.

I know about your snow. We left on vacation last Aug.31 heading for Mt. Rushmore and then down into KS and ending up in OK before we headed for home. We drove from CA to WY that first day and before we could find a place to stop for the night we had snow. We drove about 40 miles in it until we found a motel for the night and it was getting bad. We thought we might have to spend the night in the car when we came across a motel in the middle of nowhere. It was a welcome sight believe me and then we drove into this little town for food and there was just a little hamburger place still open so we ate there. It snowed all the way back to the motel and looked like it would stick good but when we got up the next morning there was just a trace on the car and none on the ground. I like snow also but my DH doesn't having grown up in KS.

Thanks everyone!! It is a lace shell pattern. The hat has shell ruffles on the edges. I did it in lionbrand homespun so its super warm even with the spaces.

Who has esty sites and what do you think of it??

What are you all working on?

I am trying to get myself back into crochet. I have not done much in the last few years. I have done a couple of crinoline pillow cases. Other than that....not much. There are some free patterns on my site at crochetbox.com They are vintage patterns.
