Help, I need crochet recipe for a baby blanket ASAP. I bought the yarn, Red Heart, color: Cameo Pink. My niece is due Dec 3rd so I'd like to give it as a gift.
Anyway, I started a ripple pattern from one of the books I picked up at Michaels crafts that had rows of hdc and trl crochet. After a few rows I think I am doing something wrong. I haven't crochet for 30 yrs. (Actually made her a blanket when she was born)
So instead of trying to figure out what I did wrong I'd ask the experts (you guys).
The cameo pink has green, pink, brown colors in it (Niece doesn't want anything to girly, girly - It's going to be a girl) and this matches her nursery colors.
Anysway, does anyone have any ideas or links to some patterns online that aren't to difficult? I don't want to do squares. I like the ripple look and I also don't want it to have to much openess (holes) if you know what I mean.
Thanks Much
