Thanks Jen! You are so sweet! I can't wait to try the beanie pattern you sent me. I like having my unfinished projects tucked in the corner close by, but it tends to get a bit messy sometimes.... like..um now!

Right now there is so much tucked into the basket that you can't even see there is a basket in the corner. I have to store everything in plastic bags to keep them clean w/ 3 inside kitties, 2 indoor/outdoor dogs & an occasional chicken inside.

Here's some more pics to share.

I made these dish cloths for a friend's B-day to match her dishes and tropical paintings that hang in her kitchen.

I love to make themed basket gifts, so I tucked them in a basket along w/ many of her favorite things.

Here's what I call the 'Rasta Scarf'. A little bright for my taste and it will make your eyes go crazy if you look at it too long.

I made one last winter for my nephew and my daughter liked it so much, so I made her one as well.

A scarf made for a friend's B-day.

Here's the scarf I finished last night for another friend's B-day. I still need to weave in my beginning & ending tails.

Thanks Jen! Yes, I think it is a given if you crochet or knit that you would have yarn & projects all over the house.

I sat long enough last night to finally start the chicken potholder that is in Lily's Sugar 'n Cream (Chicken Kitchen) pattern booklet. I got one side of the body finished and started on the second side. My daughter didn't know what I was working on and took one look at the plain yellow, one sided body and asked what happened?

I told her it was a chicken body. She was still confused. Hahaha!!! She thought I had made a lopsided dishcloth. I had to keep telling her that it was a chicken body and show her the pattern book and we laughed & laughed.

No time to crochet today.

Going to meet some of my college horticulture friend's at Mo Botanical Gardens for the Flower show tonight. It's so cold here, but should be a lot of fun.

Hope everyone has a fantastic day~

They are displayed so beautifully on your blog. The poncho brings back so many memories for me. I have one that my grandmother crocheted for my mom and it was handed down to me and then my daughter. I remember my mom making me wear it and pose for for her to take pictures. It's tucked away in storage waiting to be passed down again some day, but now I think I'd like to drag it out and look at it. I know all your relatives will cherish the beautiful gifts you are making them.

You are so welcome! I love the ponchos too. I wouldn't mind having one for myself or a prayer's shawl. You got me curious, so I went and dug it out of storage in the basement. It's actually a cape w/ matching beanie. I guess I'm losing my mind. I knew it was a cape, but the poncho reminded me of it.

I'll post a pic soon I promise.
