Crochet "Chat"

So pretty! Makes me feel like Spring (wish it really was here).
We had a whopping 40 degrees today. Almost made me want to go out and tan. Next week we will be in the deep freeze again. Sighs...can't wait for spring. We got buried last week with almost a foot and a half of snow on top of everything else. We had rain a day or so ago. I think I need some spring tonic.

Gorgeous! Forget-me-nots are actually one of my favorite flowers. Found several clumps of them behind my picket backyard fence one time and haven't seen them in a few years here. That is just lovely!
I like them too. I have a spatterware pitcher sitting on one of my old forget me not doilies. It's not one of my better pieces of crochet. I think it was my very first doily.

I made this doily last week: http://doilybox.com/grape4.html

Now to find another vintage doily that interests me. Maybe something with daisies. I have a pattern somewhere.

Speckledhen what have you been working on lately? I love your work.

That means a ton coming from you. Your doilies are amazing! That last one looks so complicated. I haven't been crocheting as much in the last couple of weeks, trying to finish up a few small quilt projects. I've done a table topper, a table runner, finished a bed runner and now am currently hand quilting another table runner as well as a square tablecloth. When those are done, I may get back to my 12" block afghan or another spring shawl project.

That doily is lovely. I haven't been on here in a while as my computer crashed and had to buy a new one. I just finished an afghan for my daughter for her birthday and I'm working on two tablecloths for two of my daughters for Christmas. I have to start early since grandchildren and greats seem to pop up and have to stop and make baby blankets and hats, etc. I love the vintage doilies. I have dozens of old timey patterns if anyone is looking for a certain pattern. Some of my patterns date back to the 40's. Some are floral ones also. I like the forget me not pattern also. Blue is my favorite color.

Sounds like your a busy lady. Quilting is a long process. I have been slacking off on quilting. I have a kitty quilt I am in the middle of. What other crafts do you do?
