Crochet "Chat"

when ever they sat they had something in their hands.
and now we've got the internet to waste our time with....

I stopped knitting when wool started making me itch. I gave away all my wool to a craft group at a retirement village. I made a hat for a guy on a forum, but otherwise I don't have much incentive to do anything. :(

No grandkids huh? They're great motivators.

No, and living in a hot climate, there's no real need for hats and scarves and gloves. Also, I let my dog sit with me and she has a tendency to decide that she's climbing on my lap at inconvenient times. Trying to do something is her cue for "cuddle time". :D

My daughter and hers live in TX and she complains of it being cold in their winters. The fox jacket was for her son. He wanted to wear the first day he got it. It was 80*

His is not lined like the Raccoon. That grandchild is in Alaska, so hers is lined.

I found this awesome CAL called Mandala Madness-it is FREE and I'm very behind-only finding it today-I have to catch up to week five ASAP! :) Thought I'd share it in case anyone was interested-it is really an interesting piece! :)

They sure are! They are so much fun to crochet and sew for.

Well I bet it's awfully hard to get mad at her for that. :)

That is so pretty! I'm going to do a search for that site now

There are tons of pics on Ravelry for awesome color inspiration too! I had to put it down for the night-still have two more clues to catch up on. :)

I have to share...I found this tutorial on how to repair damaged granny squares. I think the same strategy could be used to fix lots of items.

Haven't watched it yet, but was reminded of my step mothers granny square that was old and have some squares that had come apart. The yarn was worn shiny but I had no idea how to fix it.

Too bad I didn't have this tutorial.

gotta love all we're learning due to the internet,
