Finished my moms breast cancer hat. Just in time too, her hair started coming out by the handfuls yesterday, & after just 1 chemo! Her 2nd is Monday, so I better express mail it I guess!! The grand baby has kept me sooo busy, I just couldn't get anythig done.

None. Before I picked up crochet at the beginning of 2013, quilting was all I did.

Speckledhen, I used to do a little embroidery, knitting and braided rugs when I was a kid. I doubt I could do it now. I would love to learn tatting, hardanger embroidery and soap making. I have tried to learn tatting but I broke left wrist (i am right handed) a few years back and it did not heal well. It was nasty. Anyway...holding the thread with that hand does not work well. It's been a struggle with crocheting. I had to relearn it. Hand applique is a struggle too.


Desertwillow, Tablecloths in crochet are the hardest to me. I made only one. It took forever. It's a long tedious job. I hope you will post some pictures of them when you get them done. Yep computers do crash. I have reinstalled windows several times on my old computer before it finally needed to be laid to rest. LOL.

I woke with a headache and it won't go away so I couldn't quilt today. I crocheted a back scrubber instead, which was a request from one of our customers.
