THIS...is ambition. Good job! I just started the shrug pattern that acemario posted and I only have about 8 rows done.
Awesome! My only advice on the pattern is to make sure that you have someone hold it up to you and pull the sleeves together before you sew them so you can see how the shrug will fit. You may want to add or remove a few rows depending on how it fits. The bottom of the shrug is a convex shape that may not fit great unless if conforms to the person's "curves." haha. I am EXTREMELY happy with the pattern though. I'm interested to see what you think of it!THIS...is ambition. Good job! Definitely post some pics.
Gorgeous!! Love the colors and the spontaneity of it.I made another pet bed, but decided to do it out of my bags of yarn pieces and scraps. Didn't pay attention to the colors, just held three strands together and went at it. I think even with no color plan, it works. I did that with a lap quilt once, 8" blocks, no sashing, only coordinating colors within each block but with no overall color scheme, then I arranged them as pleasingly as I could and it worked fine. (I am quilting, too, finished a bed topper/tablecloth and started quilting on a table runner, but I have so much new yarn, I can't completely stop crocheting!) Here is the crazy cat bed.![]()
