Thanks, she's already putting me to the patience test. Told me this morning, she wasnt ready to get up yet, could I please bring her some feel better juice (oj) to her bed, so she could have the energy to get out of bed. lol
OMG that sounds just like something my 6 yr old would say.
Here I am! I have been up to my eyeballs in chicken chaos. Our Porch Crazies are destroying our porch since they have started flying over their wall and roosting where they shouldn't be. Cute as little devils, but destructive! In the process of planning their outside winter chambers now.
Hi Erin! Congrats on the Ami critters! they are addictive. If I can get my hooks to be back on speaking terms with me, I will go back into making ami - I still have some to make for belated Christmas presents.
Where's Karan!? And Maw!? I know Maw was still healing up. I hope that Karan didn't get lost from the old thread to here...
Hope everyone is healing up and feeling well.
LC, sounds like you are enjoying the weather variety! Your Chow is very cute.
I am off to get myself a late breakfast. I am ready for spring. You can send that 65 degree stuff up here now. Let's hope the groundhog behaves on Groundhog's Day and we can have an on time spring.
LOL soooooooooo if you are hiding him them is he in a kilt?? i have to do grocery shopping today. maybe i can convince a fariy to do it? LOL well we have put in an application for a loan for a house well see how it goes
I am here in frozen Louisville, the ice storm has done worse damage than Ike did. Over 600,000 without power, one whole county is without water and power. My big maple in the backyard lost alot of limbs, some came down on the new coop, but didn't hurt it, my canopy over my pigeons was wrecked though, but they are okay. I have to go out and shovel more snow, but am going to have to get some new boots, as my snow boots some how got a slice in one of them.
I still have my electric, and so do my neighbors, but one had part of the electric pulled down from his house and the wires are hanging over the street. The police used my car as part of the things they tie the caution tape to to block the street with. Some of my neighbors have had trees come down on their house, garage and cars.
Still working on my squares for the babyghan project. Getting them done slowly.
Glad to hear you survived the storm. I hope you, your neighbors and the rest get thawed out soon. And don't send that up this way. We already had our bad stuff.
I think he would only hide if we *did* manage to get him in a kilt. I am sitting here totally unable to get warm and trying to keep my heat down so the heating bill matches my conservation. But I am freezing! brrr....
Sk, hope the feel better juice works! My sister had a stuffed zebra she called Zeebie Feel Better when she was little. Kids are so cute, even if they try our patience, which mine does frequently.
Chuck, take some pics of it. You know within a week of everything coming togather, you will wish you had pics of the chaos. I know I want to see one of the "confiscated police equipment" lol
Hope it gets back to organized soon. Stay warm and safe!
Oh the feel better juice is already working! She's telling me that "daddy doesnt believe that it worked, but you still believe me dont ya mom? I feel lots better!!" Got a call from the school, Alyssa threw up, so I needed to get her, she's on the couch now.
Blahhh think I'll do chicken noodle soup for lunch, and get them down for a healing sleep nap. I just might crawl in with them. lol
