Well. had a talk with Jim. Our silkies are not pure, and there is a guy that just left, really interested in them. He's gonna talk with his wife, and come back and take them all. He has 5 acres, so there's plenty of room for them. He's nice,has a clue as to what to do with them, so they will be taken care of. $125, and all 26 of them are gone. We're keeping ours that we hatched, we know they have been taken care of. lol

I wish they invented the transporter machine like they used on Star Trek. Then I could transport me and my healing Homemade Chicken Soup to all my sick fellow hookers! So instead I'll have to send you some cyber

It's supposed to go down to single digits tonight here, so I'm going to be snuggling with the furkids really tight tonight, they are already warming up the bed!

Hi, all! Guess what??? It's SNOWING again!

Even though it'll probably not stick around for daylight, and even if it does, it's supposed to be 50 here again on Thursday. But it's so pretty coming down, and the yard is starting to get that clean look that only a new snowfall can give. Remember the chow from last week's pic? He's hiding in his house.

When it snows here, you can still see the sidewalk. And everyone KNOWS my rule. Do NOT! walk in the yard!!! It always melts before noon, and you can always see the tips of the brown grass through it. It always stays melted on the dirt, which is half the yard anyways, but where there's snow, you dont go!!!

Anyone heard a squeak from Maw? I have sent her a slew of emails over the past few weeks and no response, anyone else hear from her at all? I don't mean to be a pest and bother anyone, you know, being on the forum is not a required thing, people do have real lives, but it does ring an alarm bell when someone that was active just vanishes and then doesn't even answer email...so I am a bit worried, course the economy is so bad I would expect the internet to be a luxury that is expendable and since her husband wasn't working, that could be it...so Maw, if you happen to get to a computer just know that we hope things are ok with you and yours and anyone else that may have left us for the same reasons...hopefully we will see them all again in the near future when the economy for the country and their family gets better.

Grrr... Snow? What snow? It's 18 degrees outside, and the snow from last night is GONE! Every county around us either has schools closed or on a 2 hour delay. What about us? We're in school, on time. Naturally.

I'm focusing on Spring. Can't wait!! I can't wait to get my run started and plant flowers and not worry about my chickas getting cold. As for the pretty snow covered yard, mine usually looks like a race track because my daughter and Hubby ride their 4 wheelers all around doing donuts. Funny thing is that I wouldn't let my hubby do it because I didn't want my lawn tore up but when my daughter got her 4 wheeler I said go ahead but only when there is enough snow not to tear up the turf.

Yea...maw....check in with us! I have been wondering too about ya!

Uncle Bruce is out of the hospital!! Got home with the girls yesterday, and he was sitting outside talking with Jim. THe girls tried HARD not to run up and throw thierselves into his arms.
He's still in a neck brace, for C-2 compression fracture. He's still confused easily. His daughter went from Lexi to Caroline. lol
BUT, he's out, and walking!! He starts therapy next week, I think.
He'll need to do physical, occupational and speech therapy. But, who cares?! Yay!

we got more snow last night I wont see the grass/weeds till march if I'm lucky. And they canceled school cause it was going to be a 1/2 day anyway.
All the grandkids are sick with a cold and or ear infection and I feel like poop.
I think it's moving into my chest so I'll be calling the dr. The last time I got a chest cold it turned into a lung infection and I was in ICU for 3 days.
k, enough of cheerful me how's everybody else doing?
