I've been working with 2 bushels of tomatoes today... then as you all know I had my Dr. appointment today well... I missed it and heres why... this is what I have posted on my FB wall...

You know your a dumb a** when you get locked in your chicken coop! To make things worse you dont have any neighbors to hear you yelling and your husband is in his office working and so he cant hear you.... and the chickens are just looking at you, lol

So thats what happened to me.... I was stuck in there for an hour and about 15 mins. before Dh realized the car was still in the drive way and came looking for me... Glad he works from home, but wish he would have missed me sooner, needless to say our walkie talkie will be on my hip at all times now! I called the Dr. and they cant get me in until next Tuesday so that really sucks, I guess no eggs til then.... bout ready to try them again and see if anything happens........ they've laid 13 today.

While I was in the coop I got to thinking maybe I wasnt meant to go to the dr. today, why else would I get stuck in the coop.

Good afternoon everyone,

Just got home from work. It's not as smokey from the CA fires today as it was. Guess the wind is sending it elsewhere and it is windy but not as hot today. It's my day to sew today also. I want to put the binding on the comfort quilt I'm doing for the local women's shelter and that will finish it up. I'm not crocheting right now although I found a cut pattern of a crocheted frog I might start for my grandson for Christmas. He's only 4 months old and I think he'd like it. I've madefive afghans since April and also did the hex's so need a break for a while.

I got 8 eggs yesterday but haven't checked on todays. My girls are doing great even though it's still hot. I'm looking forward to cooler weather.

Good Morning all, sorry I haven't dropped in in awhile, I have been busy and sick and busy and sick, its seems like a never ending cycle.

but all is well, my youngest went off to school this year so I am now alone in the house from 7 am to 4 pm. Its kinda nice as I can now spend the time on fixing up the house the way I want it and not having to worry about kids runnin round tearing things up. So far I have repainted the kids room, in a pastel green and with pink curtins and we are going to put wall clings polka dots and flowers all over the walls and we are trying to find them a set of bunk beds. and they have really pretty bedspreads to match, then I am going to paint my room, I have fixed up my guest bath and am going to completely redo my kitchen floors and all. so thats what going on I will try to stop in once a day to keep caught up. well talk to ya'll later . Maw.

This truly gives me hope that someday I will be able to keep up with my house/life.

Frogs, chickens, Christmas ornaments( I LOVE Christmas decorations, especially ornaments!)
I love the color blue!
I really like the contemporary modern but comfortable style of decorating, like the stuff in my belly pic that I posted a while back.
I could use a cute apron

Dislikes: Country stuff( I like it, I just don't like to decorate with it) unless it's a Christmas ornament...that I don't mind.
Don't like gothic stuff.

I can't think of anything else right now. Hope this helps

Oh guys laugh all you want cause its so funny (now ) and we have all been laughing all day, all my friends on FB have been giving me a hard time about since I told them.... it was pretty crazy!

Our door on our coop has a latch thing that slides down.... oh I cant explain it I'll just have to take a pic. tomorrow and show ya'll.

Mawchickkidie - I know how ya feel

We have 4 kids, 16, 14, 12, 10 and all I can say is THANK GOD FOR SCHOOL! Woohoooo

Been working on my coop in the evenings. I got a new playhouse. Hubby thinks I have gone crazy. 2 coops he says. Yip!!!!
