I've been fitting alittle crocheting in... almost done with a snuggle buddy, started another one today and made a hat on the knifty knitter... lots more to go!

Snuggle buddy is what I'm calling the lil babyghans I'm making for my cousin, she wanted them smaller than the babyghans I make so here boys can carry them around

SE did you know pico de gallo is spanish for rooster beak? LOL Just thought I would throw in that little bit of info so early in the morning. Just got home from celebrating my uncle's 50th birthday.

Tired of peeling apples!!!! I canned the last of my apples into applesauce, made 8 1/2 pints and 3 pints of peas plus my efforts yesterday, I feel like the canning queen, haha!! Canned goods make such nice additions to gift baskets at Christmas though!! Cant wait to get some muscadines and make jam from them, also need to get some kahlua started, the longer that sits the better it is!! Have a great evening!!!

FINALLY got our kitchen table cleared of all them veggies

Dd15 sliced the g. pepper and put them in freezer bags for me (3 - 1 gallon bags), Dh dried all the hot peppers in the oven, I did the tomatoes, got 2 - 1 gallon bags in the freezer and a big pot of pasta sauce

Now tomorrow its on to the beets...... Dh and Ds10 picked and washed them all today and I've been doing some crocheting here and there.......

* Day 5... Momma hen is still sitting on her eggs... theres 11 under her now and I did move her, she is in a dog cage in her own caged in area with food, water and space to move around in

SE I always wondered what chickens would look like if they had teeth! Glad they don't though.
Got 14 pints of peaches canned today and more to peal and slice. Lots of apples to peal, slice, and core too.

My daughter asked me about peaches Purple, I told her somehow I missed the peaches this year, haven't canned any of them, but plenty of other sweet stuff to spread on a bisquit, lol! And chickens with teeth..wouldnt that be a scary sight?!!! Like a possum with feathers, haha!!

I'm REALLY mad at myself this morning... after all the hard work I did yesterday making homemade pasta sauce, I have to throw it out because I forgot to put it in the fridge before going to be, so it sat out ALL NIGHT!

SE my mental picture of the chicken with teeth is getting better all the time. I was thinking of a chicken with those fake hillbilly teeth people give as gag gifts but now the possum with feathers is a whole nother level! LOL I would love to see that (in a cage).

Jen are you really really sure it went bad? Hate for you to have to throw it all out. I know you really had to work hard on that.
