Well at least you still have yours. I got in such a hurry to get mine in the mail that after I sent it off I found 2 more things that were saposed to go in there. I am going to try to get that package out today so it wont be too far behind the first box.

I alerted Scoot to the potential problem about 2 weeks ago or so. This is what happened on my end. I had purplefrog's name. So I started buying for my ss. I also thought it would be a good idea to see what she liked. So....I stalked

....I mean occasionally glanced at her posts to see if she would reveal some of her likes and dislikes so I could customize her gift box especially for her. Well, just my luck, she never posted anything...I mean in months. So...I talked to Scoot who advised me to sit tight and maybe we would hear something by the 13th or so of December to see if she sent out a SS box to someone. If she didn't then I could have the name she drew and send my gifts to that person.

Well now we know the answer. I hope all will be well with her.

I am afraid at this point that the joke is on me and that maybe she had my name.

Christmas is the season of giving and forgiving. If she had my name...oh well, next time I am sure it will work out.

Reality hit me hard last week and I must share. My father found out that he would have to take radiation treatments #3 and #4 as cancer had returned now to his shoulder and his spine again. Then on Wednesday, while I am at a conference 4 hours away...my sisters house, two vehicles, and her two beloved pets were lost to fire. It was a new home that they had put their blood, sweat, and tears, into for 3 years...their dream home. Anyway, everything is just stuff other than the animals. Yes there were heirlooms and family precious that cannot be replaced, but it is just stuff.

That is my point here...it is just stuff...and all is going to be ok.

and Scoot, if someone does turn up with my name...then we will all have to work together to see where my box needs to be shipped. If no one is found...I will just use the stuff next year!

Good morning all! Freezing here again. Waiting for Hubby to get home so I can mail mine out. I hope it all fits in the priority box.

Too bad about those that back out without word. I've been burned a few times so I'm careful about what I join now. It's not like its mandatory. Just like the block swap. I knew I didn't have time so I didn't sign up. Some people.

I'm getting excited about Christmas.

Most of my shopping is done except a couple Gifts are wrapped and my home is full of cheer.

Almost forgot: Hubby got put back on day shift. I'm so excited. I have pretty much raised these kids on my own because of our schedule differences. Can't wait~ Best gift I could ask for. Having my family together.
