I'm back from a yarn run and I have an obscene amount of yarn to work with for a while.

I rummaged through my stash to see what kind of fall color yarn I have and I have a little bit, but it's boring.

I might go take a look at the stores today to see if any others strike my fancy.

How is the moving going? Are you moving very far from where you are now?

Ok so far - it's breezy and we have some broken hurricane bands, but no rain yet. It's due to hit us tomorrow morning officially but it will probably start raining this afternoon. At least I've got a nice selection of goodies to play with as I watch the rain!​

I grew up dashing to the basement from them in Florida, so I know what your going through. One time I flew home (Fla) to see my mom when my daughter was just about a year or two yrs old. I stepped off the plane, my mom picked me up from the air port, we drove straight to the house to pack up family treasures to evacuate. ~Crazy~ Now I have to dash from tornadoes.

I love to crochet on rainy days! Enjoy playing with your new goodies!

The move is going sloooowwwly. We are moving about 40 minutes away only. The new place is tiny but has 10 acres and I can have as many chickens as I want!!!

I took time out to buy some gorgeous fall colored yarn yesterday! Oh my gosh doing fall colors right now was a very good idea! The stores are loaded with the most beautiful colored yarns for the season!

I had some fall colors but, like you, I thought they were boring (or we are just horribly addicted to hoarding yarn

). Now I just need to play with a new pattern til I get something I like. Oh these colors are sooo pretty!!!
It's your fault Bahzell! That orange in your photos is so nice I had to get a nice orange too.

My Dad always says that "shift of blame" is an important concept to master!

Is very angry with my dogs ... Went to the bathroom and they were playing with my yarn !!! So kow I have black doggie hair on it

hope this doesn't bother anyone and should I wash them and how do I wash them and would they shrink ??

ye I have a black lab and little black dog and two mutts lol so I'm used to the hair just wasn't sure if anyone else would mind
