Just got home but way behind in my chicken chores so this will be quick. A white Showgirl pullet owned by Sheryl Butler shown by your's truly beat the silkies in the AOV category. I consider this a HUGE win for them. I took 3rd in the blacks and 5th in the blues! Which is more than I ever expected. My best blue was very stressed and not holding her wings tight when she was judged. So in the end I took 6, came home with 12, showed 8 won 6 ribbons brought 4 of them home with me! Giving up the Champion AOV Silkie Ribbon was painful but I plan to win more down the road. Woooo hoooo!

Got to go make accommodations for my new Champions. Sheryl gave me the winning birds and 3 more to go with. Sheryl is the best! Such a wonderful and sweet lady.
