What can I say, it has a duck on it!

Didn't win the incubator, though...

Congrats to both of you. Since I never win raffles, I didn't buy any tickets. Until the last minute at the Youth Table when I bought one ticket for the Light Brahma bantam pair. My luck finally changed and I now have a gorgeous pair from Spence and Williams.

Wynette and I walked the entire showroom today - going row by row. If there were Barnevelders there, we couldn't find them.

Oh bummer. Thanks for looking!

I looked, too. I can't believe there were none. ???? I sure couldn't find any though. Sorry.

Didn't really pay attention but their might of been some bantam Speckled Sussexs in the cages by the Seramas. Never bothered to look at the tag but they had the speckled sussex color to them.

OH, you wouldn't want to hear all my thoughts, Jim.

The 540 mile trip for me and my daughter started at 5AM Thursday. Mapquest said it should take 9 hours.

First gas station we stopped at, Brittney left her cell phone in the bathroom. We discovered this nearly an hour later and went back and got it. About the same time, I discovered that the BCMarans and Wheaten Ameraucana I plucked off the roost at 4:30AM to take to a friend, turned out to be a BCMarans and an Easter Egger! (Stupid low wattage light bulb in the coop is to blame, ya know).

Next, we stopped at a breeder's home in Illinois, to pick up some birds to transport to Indiana, for a friend. Ever been in a minivan with over 30 chickens for many hours?

Yeah, it was an experience............

I can hardly see a map to read it (next time I will take my lighted head strap magnifier!), and Brittney can't even read a map! Oh, yes, it was an exciting trip............ both ways.

I did not buy any birds while there. Unbelievable, I know. The ride home was .................. ummmm, should I just say......... LONG!

Ours was to be 10.5 hours. It took 12. We came home without the silent auction birds, but we acquired some extras. Juliechick also bought some more. Ethan did pretty good on the trip. Just glad we did not bring Jacob! We were one of the first to leave the parking lot. About 14 bantams, 2 chickens, two ducks and a turkey in my wife's 2011 Toyota Sienna van. We arrived home to southeast Arkansas minutes before midnight.

Oh, Ethan placed 4th in Peewee Showmanship! So proud of my 4H members. Now if the Quack will come get his new Silver Appleyard hen I will be happier! ( The Quack is 16 and he is VP of our 4H club)

Nice birds! I still don't know who was Ch/RCh Featherleg. I'm wondering if Joe Mazur (who had BB cochin on a black) was up on Ch row.

Thanks for the pics.
