How do you do the little blur thing?

If you’re writing something on your phone, you’ll touch the vertical three dots from the menu at the top of this reply. When you do that, you get an additional menu that allows you to format letters. One of those menu commands appears to be an eye with a line through it. That’s the one you want to click on after you’ve highlighted the section you want to blur.

When you do that, you’ll see the highlighted section written in HTML. Inside the first bracket you’ll see spoiler. In order to get the blur effect, you have to put an ”i” in front of spoiler in both the beginning and ending brackets. When you were post your reply, that section will then be blurred out.

It looks like this:

When you’re not using your phone, and press on the three dots, you’ll get a little mask icon, as opposed to the eye with a line through it. Highlighting your section and pressing the mask icon, will do the exact same thing. For some reason, the mask doesn’t show up on my phone.
