I would change the locks too by citing safety reasons,or use this to breach the lease and move. Watched to many shows where women are attacked day and night.Even if the guy just gets a hand slap for this he might be annoyed enough to retaliate.People are weird like that.
I don't think it is to late to file a report,because you are not charging them just reporting the incident. Should anything happen to your dd in the future they will have someone on list to look at.
We like to think nothing bad will happen to loved ones,but sometimes it does.Do what you can now.
