He went straight from pip to zip no rest no nothing HE IS READY TO BE OUT OF THAT EGG!!!!!

Well the chick made it out but it’s super sticky I know this because the bottom half of the egg shell was stuck to it’s back and I helped it to get it it off I have a wet rag in there with it I was trying to get the sticky goop off do y’all know of anything else I could do

the second chick just hatched it looks like it is still in the process of absorbing the last bit of the yolk. is this normal? I haven't ever witnessed this before. My dad said it would be fine that it would finish absorbing while in the incubator

Sweet pictures @Matieus27 , I love watching others hatch as I wait on mine.

first 10 days have passed and I did my rejection candling. Out of 42 eggs 6 were rejected. 2 were my fault. I placed 3 of them upside down (first time I ever did that) and 2 of them did not develop. One of them however did survive. Both my Seramas were rejected due to no development, One of the Meat Hybrids had a blood ring, and a Red Sex Link had no development at all.

So he remaining 36 eggs are 14 BC Marans x Pro Reds, 11 Silver Grey Dorkings, 4 Dorking X Red Rangers, 4 cuckoo Marans (1/4 BCM) and 3 Red Sex Links (Pro Red x various Columbian patterns). Ok the most boring 10 days have passed and the next 11 days will go by fast.

Yeah there were originally 8 eggs in the bottom Hatcher part of my incubator 3 died at various stages I’m thinking some kind of deficiency in the parent flock they are shipped eggs so that’s out of my control the 4th egg pipped in middle and drowned I imagine. So when this one pipped in the middle I quickly took action to give it the best chance of survival. The last egg still had movement last I checked but still no pip so we will see where it goes.

Yeah I know the feeling that’s how I feel. The third pipper just passed. So I am down to two but if I’m looking right I have a hen and rooster they are barred so rooster looks different then hen so I would be happy with that if that’s all I get.
