Big Ike is so active and energetic, it's hard to get pictures of him anytime, but put him and his ladies out and about, and they are busy bees. Anyway, I haven't posted any pictures of them in a bit, so decided to put some up, even though they aren't great shots. For instance, I always seem to snap Isaac when he's turning, so one foot is in and the other is out.

Just wanted to yell, "Stand still!". And looks like the girls have been nibbling on his right wattle. Good grief.

They are 27 weeks old or so, except for Kira, who is over a year old now, and are excellent layers.

Here is the first chick from my Delaware flock, now six weeks old. So, what do you think? I think pullet at the moment.

Hey Cynthia, great looking birds. I know what you mean about trying to get a picture. When I get the camera out, they will not stand still for anything.

Wow he's a beaut isn't he!! I love that one hen looking directly at you, and the hen butts... They are pretty chickens.

One of the things I really like about Dels is the way they'll look at you. Of course if you sit with them you end up with several playing "king of the hill" on you. And they ARE heavy.

Especially my Gallant, Isaac's brother. Fortunately, he has recently decided he's outgrown being a lap bird.

Thanks, Chris, happy you think they look good. I value your opinion alot! Adam, good to see you here! These are a good bunch for my foundation flock, I think, a work in progress to be sure, but a good start.
Thanks, insiderart. They do have fluffy bums, dont they?

Cher, I know Gallant and Isaac have the same sire, but I'm betting they have different mothers.

They crack me up when they chase bugs, big fluffy butts rumbling across the ground while they scream about hunting... Flash hunts sooo LOUDLY I always know when she sees a bug...
