Two more Delawares hatched, however, one of them, sadly, had to be euthanized because most of its organs were on the outside of its body. It also was pipping from the wrong end of the egg. The good news is that #10 Delaware did hatch and three more are working on their pips. Two still have not pipped so we will candle them to see if they are still viable.
The second Blue Orp has made its pip a bit larger, but is a ways from hatching. We are six hours into Day 22. No understanding of why they are taking so long to hatch, but at least they are hatching.
EDITED TO ADD: Now, there are 12 Delawares hatched, 2 still at pip stage and 2 unpipped. The last Orp has made a tiny bit of progress, but isn't zipping much yet.
#13 Delaware has hatched.. That just leaves the last Orp and the two unpipped Dels, which I will probably let go till tomorrow a.m.since this hatch was very much slower than usual.
